Stephen McAleer has been a Theory of Constraints practitioner for 15 years and the author of ‘COTSOps’ interdependent ecosystem optimization strategy. Similar to Oil & Gas, there are many industry verticals whose portfolio of internal systems (IT & OT) have a significant (>70%) interdependence on 1,000s of hardware and software supply chain partners. How ‘may’ Oil & Gas enterprises and their ecosystem partners successfully execute strategic initiatives; such as Automation, Cybersecurity, Cloud, Data & Event-Driven Architecture, Digital Transformation, Modernization, and Data Science, unless there is a focus on improving the flow or throughput of complex interdependent ecosystem constraints. For the last 6 years, Stephen has worked at Red Hat supporting the Energy industry for Red Hat’s Cloud, Edge, Intelligent Application, and Data platforms business.
