I really appreciated the follow-up questions on my topic, and the chance to connect with questioners after. The conference also connected me with some old colleagues who saw my presentation and are in new roles where we can collaborate. There was also an incredibly interesting concept presented in one of the vendor presentations, which I am following up on and am excited to trial. As always, a great event.

One of the key benefits of going to a conference like this is to actually open up, talk to other people, and find out how others are integrating similar concepts. It’s so important to actually have those social interactions, and this conference by its very nature keeps the subject focused. You don’t just break into a social commentary, but are able to gain several opinions across several O&G companies.

Having been a regular presenter at other conferences, was particularly impressed with the round robin approach in the exhibitor area. The exhibitors experienced the most traffic and ability to clearly share benefits of their products, and attendees received in depth exposure to advantages of vendor offerings, without feeling pressured by sales contacts to engage on the spot or later.
