Joshua Nix

Joshua has 26 years of industrial operations and maintenance experience.  Throughout his career in management or projects he has stayed close to the fields’ specific to process automation.  He spent eight years between Kansas and Oklahoma providing I&E maintenance to midstream plants and gathering facilities. He spent six years implementing large capital automation projects throughout Texas and Oklahoma.  heaccepted a management role to provide leadership in operations and maintenance of seven cryogenic plants and supporting gathering system.  He has implemented advanced process control methods through midstream facilities built new down to the 1920’s.  He served on multiple teams as I&E subject matter expert reviewing, developing, and implementing; craft training, craft qualification standards, reliability procedures, engineering standards, and best practices.  He currently work as a Senior Control Specialist for Energy Transfer in a technical services reliability group of south central Texas.  He practices “boots on the ground” mentoring through auditing, incident investigation, and root cause analysis.
